Was your mom confused (as in dementia) when all of this started? My mom takes lasix when she has extra swelling in her ankles. In the past 3 weeks she has become so disoriented that she can't remember when to take her meds, if she has taken her meds or how to get the meds out of the container. We are waiting on results of blood tests now to see if something is out of whack.
I am so happy to hear that your mom is doing so much better. How sad it is to see our parents suffering. Almost more than a person can bear.

Your mom must be a very tough lady! (with a very good support system!)

So glad she made it through the system and came out the other side OK! Not always the case, as I'm sure you well know, and were fearful....
